Week 10 at a Glance

Edu Dance & Open Classrooms

The much anticipated Edu Dance Concert is this Monday 21 September.

* PLEASE  BRING YOUR COSTUMES IN MONDAY MORNING IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY *

The Concert will commence at 2:30pm and conclude just before 3:00pm, if you are collecting students after the concert school pick up will be as per normal at the gate.

Classrooms will be open until 3:30pm for parents to visit their children’s classrooms after the concert. This is a great opportunity to see some of the amazing work students and their teachers have been doing throughout the year.

Please be aware that once the Edu Dance Concert has finished children will need to be supervised and with their parents at all times as vehicles will be onsite removing the concert stage.

Due to social distancing teacher’s will be doing their best to keep people flowing through the rooms but if a classroom looks particularly full please be patient and wait outside or possibly visit another classroom and come back.

Faction Carnival

It has been a fantastic week of sports at Curtin Primary this week, all of which would not have been possible without the help of our staff, volunteers and parents. It was great watching the students participating, cheering and showing good sportsmanship throughout the events and it was lovely seeing so many families enjoying the carnival and finally back on the school grounds. Thank you to our wonderful P & C for holding another successful Cake Stall, Raffle and yummy bbq lunch.

Messages from your P&C

 Thank you Curtin Primary

Curtin Primary community you are amazing. Once again we have walked away from sports day feeling the buzz that comes from being part of something special.

Our cake stall was filled with delicious baking and other treats which were very much enjoyed by students and spectators alike.

The BBQ’s were fired up ready for lunch and the sausage sizzle provided the fuel everyone needed to keep going all afternoon.

A massive thank you to everyone who assisted in making this all happen. We love how people are so willing to help and particularly loved having student’s grandparents being part of the action.

Finally, on behalf of all the families at Curtin Primary – thank you Mrs Kalajzic for not only organising a great week of sports, but for all of the effort you have put into making our school look beautiful. We appreciate you.

 Sports Day Raffle

Congratulations to Rikeesha Smith who was the winner of the 4 passes to Bounce. We hope you have a great time bouncing around. A special shout out to Keiter and Heidi-Rose who did a great job of selling tickets during the week – it wouldn’t have been as good without you!
