Cross Country

Our week got off to a fantastic start with our students putting in a great effort in warm conditions with the cross country being held on Monday.

Congratulations to our winners and placegetters, there were some fiercely fought races and fabulous sportsmanship on display. We love celebrating our winners and recognising the efforts of everyone who stepped out on course.

Everyone is eagerly awaiting the final results as to which faction has won the cross country shield – all will be revealed on Friday afternoon.

Jumps and Throws

Tuesday saw our students participating in jumps and throws, it is fantastic to see children stand up and put in amazing performances. Just as impressive are the smiles on the faces of everyone as they give it their all!

Carnival Day

Friday is the main event that everyone has been looking forward to. We invite you to get into the spirit of the day and join the children in dressing in faction colours and be part of the fun – there is nothing like a bit of friendly rivalry! There is even the chance for you to show your sporting prowess in a few team games when we will invite parents out on onto the track. We really hope you will get involved as we know your children love seeing you there and part of it.

Faction Carnival will commence on Friday at 9am, we hope that you can join us and cheer loudly! Bring along your picnic rugs and chairs to sit on in the spectator zone.

Please remember to adhere to social distancing protocols. We also ask that you don’t bring any plastic streamers along, but we do welcome paper and material streamers.

Coloured hair spray

On Friday before school faction captions will be armed with coloured hair spray. $1 each for anyone who would like their hair sprayed.

Cake stall

Our annual cake and coffee stall is back this sports day. Be sure to bring along some change so you can enjoy all the delicious baking. Students will be invited to purchase from the cake stall at recess time and are welcome again at lunch.

Donations of biscuits, cakes, slices and other goodies are requested for our cake stall. Paper plates and ingredient labels are available at the gate before school tomorrow to be kindly filled for the cake stall. Please bring baked goods to our marquee on the oval before school on Friday morning.

Coffee and tea

We’ll have freshly ground beans and hot coffee for sale for anyone who needs their morning fix. Please bring your own mug or cup if you can and help us minimise waste.

Sausage sizzle

On sports day children will be given tokens for their order and called up in groups to collect their lunch. If you have ordered additional sausage sizzles for yourself or siblings please come and collect them with your child. There will be a some extra available for purchase on the day once all of those who have pre-ordered have collected their lunch.
