Path removal – assistance wanted

Assistance is requested to remove the old, paved paths between the Harmony Garden and gazebo in the nature playground to allow paths to be upgraded and the Coolangahs Kaartijans totems installed. The date is to be confirmed (either a weekend morning or a few hours after school in the next week or two). It will require a shovels, a crowbar, a few muscles and a bit of teamwork. If you are willing to assist (pending your availability) please send me an email at president@curtinprimarypandc.com.au so we can make it happen. It’s a great opportunity to catch up with other parents and get involved – many hands makes light work!

Harmony and Sustainability Gardens

It is lovely to see our gardens looking so healthy – they have clearly been enjoying both the rain and sunshine. We have expanded the Harmony Garden into the area at the end of the Groundbreakers room with the planting of a lime, pomegranate, curry leaf, finger lime, native gardenia, waterbush  and tucker bush cherry trees.

The new vegetables in the Sustainability Garden are all looking great, with our first cucumbers and pumpkins growing on their vines. Our year 5/6 class have recently done some additional planting and have been out getting involved in the gardens with Mrs Dagastino.

If anyone is a keen gardener (or has any vegetable seedlings we could add to our sustainability garden) and would like to be part of keeping our gardens healthy we’d love to hear from you. Even if you don’t have any experience there are plenty of jobs you can help with (the weeds never take a holiday!) You can email to president@curtinprimarypandc.com.au
