From your P&C

2021 AGM – Tuesday March 2, 7:30pm – All welcome and encouraged to attend.

The P&C delivers a large number of benefits to the school community and works closely with the school to enhance the Curtin Primary experience. As a team we organise events, fundraise, deliver projects and work to help improve the school experience for all. This all relies on the contribution of volunteers and there are many ways you can help.

We are seeking volunteers for office bearing positions (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Executive Committee Member).

We are also seeking members of the P&C to be “Class Representatives” for each year class group. It is our goal to have active members representing our entire school community to best deliver value for everyone.

While it is important that office bearer positions are filled, the work of the P&C is done by everyone (both members and our wider school community.)

To become a member of the P&C you need to come to the AGM on Tuesday March 2 (or any meeting during the year – there is typically one per term). Membership fees are $1 per year and membership is valid until the next AGM.

The small group of parents that helped establish the P&C would like to pass on their roles to other members of the school community. Most of the office bearers (including the President) will not be renominating. It is time to hand the baton on to the next group of Curtin PS parents. Rest assured that they won’t be going far and are will to help out and provide advice to the next P&C.

If you are interested in nominating for an office bearing position (all are declared vacant at the AGM), please contact the current office bearer.

President – Kelly Muller – president@curtinprimarypandc.com.au

Vice President – George Watts – vicepresident@curtinprimarypandc.com.au

Secretary – Rebecca Brockman – secretary@curtinprimarypandc.com.au

Treasurer – Jodie Naughton – treasurer@curtinprimarypandc.com.au

We will also be available to chat at the school picnic tonight, so seek us out or pick up a nomination form from the P&C table.

Looking forward to a great year together.
