Anzac Day
Thank you to everyone who was involved is our Anzac Day Service today. A special thanks to those who donated flowers for the wreaths and Gail and Jasmine for making them. Students have been learning about Anzac Day this week and our school Anzac Day Service was held today. Here are some photos below.

Wear Your Team Colours Day – West Coast vs Freo Derby
For a gold coin donation children can wear their team colours to school next Friday 30 April. Please remember to wear suitable footwear – NO footy or soccer boots.
Gold coins will be collected at the gate, money raised will go towards the yrs 5/6 camp.
Mother’s Day Flowers
Mother’s Day is just around the corner and what better way to spoil her and support our school than with a beautiful bunch of flowers.

SEDA Soccer Clinic PP – 6
Next Thursday 29 April students will participate in a SEDA Soccer Clinic. Students are asked NOT to wear soccer or football boots to school please.
Local Sporting Clubs
A number of our local sporting clubs are taking registrations now for the upcoming season. They provide a great opportunity for children and parents to be involved in the local community whilst having a lot of fun. Absentees

Uniforms
Uniform Shop is open Wednesday mornings before school and Thursday afternoons after school. If you require items outside these times please call the school on 9313 1051 or email curtin.ps@education.wa.edu.au to arrange.

Parents / Guardians need to have access to Connect to receive school communications from the Principal, classroom teacher and office.

Containers for Change
Congratulations to everyone who continues to support our Containers for Change Program. To date we have raised $290 which means 2,900 containers have been recycled and removed from landfill.


From your P&C
Parents and interested citizens are invited to attend our next P&C meeting which will be held at 7:30 pm on Tuesday 27 April in the staffroom at the Curtin Primary School. Being a member of the P&C is a great way to learn what’s happening at your school. The meeting is friendly, informal, well run, and is not lengthy.
We are also looking for a Vice President to join our team. If this is of interest, please let us know.
If you can spare just over an hour of your time to come to our meeting, we would love to see you. Everyone is welcome – new members are encouraged!
