Containers for Change

From your P&C

Dear Parents and Friends,

The Curtin Primary School P&C Association aims to promote the interests of the school through cooperation with parents, teachers, and members of the general community. We embrace diversity and respect for all individuals, sharing our perspectives to build positive attitudes and support the school community.

The P&C has so far run two fundraising events.  An election day sausage sizzle in Term 1 with profits of $525, and a Mother’s Day Flower event in Term 2 with profits of $2870, which included a very generous $450 donation from a community member.  We are very proud to have held such wonderful events and I would like to thank the volunteers who directly and indirectly were involved in running these events.

I wish to conclude by acknowledging the forthcoming National Reconciliation Week (NRW) running from 27 May to 3 June. This year marks 20 years of Reconciliation Australia.

Regards,

Vahid Afshari
