End of Term Classroom Showcase & Book Fair

Join us next Wednesday 23 June from 2:30 for our end of term Classroom Showcase and also the annual Scholastic Book Fair.

We welcome you to visit your child’s classroom and see some of the amazing work and activities they have been doing this term.

End of Semester Tidy Up

With the end of the semester fast approaching we would like to tidy up all outstanding items. Students with outstanding payments and unexplained absences will be receiving notes home. If these could be settled as soon as possible it would be greatly appreciated. 

It would also be appreciated if students could please check at home for any overdue library books and return them to school.

School Disco

Please remember to return your disco form and ticket money to school together in an envelope or bag.

 Just to clarify:

* The disco is for ALL Curtin Primary School students, Kindy through to Year 6

* The $5 (Please provide correct money) and disco form can be returned in an envelope to   

    the classroom teacher.

* Pizza – Ham and Pineapple and Cheese Pizza (vegetarian option)

Outside School Hours Care – Gowrie Karawara

Gowrie have received some forms back and will be making a decision shortly as to whether they have enough interest to provide out of school hours care for Curtin Primary.

If you currently have a child in Kindy at Curtin Primary School could you please remember to return the Application For Enrolment – for Pre Primary 2022 that has been sent home. Follow this link to download another Application For Enrolment Form if needed.

If you will not be returning in 2022, could you please email the office to let us know as this helps us with our 2022 planning. 


Our sustainability leaders would like to remind families that our classes are collecting the below items as they compete to win the Responsible Rose Shield at the next assembly. If you have any of the below items at home

Batteries   –   Bread Clips   –   Plastic Lids   –   Toothbrushes / Tubes/Boxes  – Old Pens

Local Sporting Clubs

A number of our local sporting clubs are taking registrations now for the upcoming season. They provide a great opportunity for children and parents to be involved in the local community whilst having a lot of fun. You can find more information by following this link to our Community Noticeboard.

* Some Sports Shirts on backorder have arrived. Unfortunately though we are still waiting for the Blue size 4 , Red size 8 and the Gold size 14 shirts. I will update this when they arrive.*

Uniform Shop is open Wednesday mornings before school and Thursday afternoons after school.  If you require items outside these times please call the school on 9313 1051 or email  to arrange.
