Message from P & C – Book Sale
Thanks to everyone for their support of our inaugural book sale last weekend. It was a huge success and we were very pleased to see so many of our students and our community members searching for their next page turner. We raised around $1500 for our school and already have ideas to make it bigger and better next year.
Sausage Sizzle & Cake Stall
Our next event is the sausage sizzle and cake stall at the Athletics Carnival next week. We would love your support either by baking tasty treats, sizzling sausages or working behind our stall. Please contact Mel Jasper on 0459 849 814 if you are able to volunteer.
Tree Planting – City of South Perth
Our Coolangahs Kartijdin program has been very busy and this week our school was awarded a greenLAB Grant for the work they have been doing to protect, increase and monitor bushland around our school and urban canopy in the City of South Perth.
We hope that the projects our students do as part of our Coolangahs Kartijdin program will create a better, greener and more environmentally friendly school for the generations to come.
Author Visit – Kelly Canby
Room 3 students were lucky enough to have author Kelly Canby visit them yesterday.
Aussie of the Month Award
Congratulations to Ellie and Adam for receiving the Aussie of the Month awards this week. Both students displayed the value of ” everyone has the right to learn without disruption”.
Each class nominates children who have displayed this value and I would like to acknowledge each of these students.
