Principal’s welcome
It’s going to be another very exciting year at Curtin Primary School. Once again we have planned a year full of events and activities to engage all of our students and continue to develop our connection with our community.
Day by day our numbers continue to grow as new students enrol into our beautiful, little school. On behalf of the whole school community I’d like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new families – welcome to the Curtin family.
We’ve had a hot start, but that hasn’t prevented our students from settling in well. Great to see everyone looking fantastic and wearing their school uniform with pride.
Whilst we have a lot planned for this term, we are holding back on advertising our social events, as we expect that there might be further directions as to exactly what we can, and can’t, safely do at school. Class meetings are currently scheduled for week 3, look out for detailed arrangements at the end of next week.
All student activities such as tennis and dance lessons are going ahead as planned. As a small school we can easily ‘socially distance’ classes when we have whole school events, so we feel we can keep everyone as safe as possible.
As I have mentioned before, parents don’t need to wear masks, when entering the school, only when entering a classroom or the office.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about COVID, and I will forward to you any new information as we receive it.
